Thank you for stopping by to visit Ready, Set, Grow Childcare's website. We are conveniently located in the Chesapeake Ranch Estates in Lusby, Md. I have been caring for children of many ages since I was very young. I have been providing professional childcare since August of 2004.  George, my husband, and I have 3 beautiful children together. Brandon (10 yrs. old), Katelynn (7 yrs. old) and Hailey (2 yrs. old). 

I chose this profession, because simply put, I love children. I will treat your child, as if they were my own. I believe that parents are the most important people in a child’s world, and I will make every effort to support you as a family. I will offer the very best care that I can for your child. Having been a working mother myself, I understand your need to feel safe in someone’s care when you leave your precious little one to go to work. I welcome you & your child to my home. I am a family childcare home, and by staying small, I am able to provide the quality care and nurturing atmosphere that your child deserves.

It is our policy to provide an atmosphere that is free from unlawful discrimination of any type, including race, religion, sex, national origin, age, disability, or any other characteristic protected by law. 

Children in my childcare are allowed to develop at their own pace. While I will work with your child on a daily basis, I will not push a child to do anything they are physically unable to do. This includes, walking, talking or potty training.   

I provide guidance, which allows your child’s physical, social, emotional, and mental development to progress naturally. I offer a quality childcare program, I am not a babysitting service. I believe children learn best through play. While your child is in my care, I will consistently assist him or her in learning important ideals such as, good manners, patience, sharing and responsibility, as I believe this is something all children can and should be taught. Your child will discover friendship and sharing while developing a positive self-image.

Most of all, I want to make sure your child has FUN. If this is the way you would like for your child to play and learn, then this is the place for you.

I consider a free exchange of information between you & I to be very important. I will share information with you about your child on an on-going basis.  I will have a special relationship with your child, but I will never take the place of a parent. Hopefully, I will also have a special relationship with you, and we can work together for the best interest of your child.
