September 2008

Welcome Back!

Our preschool program will begin on Tuesday September 2^nd this year and I am very excited about this year’s curriculum, as we are doing Mother Goose Time. Attached is the September preschool newsletter from them. If you’d like to learn more you can go to www.mothergoosetime.com. The kids will be learning many new & exciting things this year. We have already started discussing some of the concepts they will learn & I’ve begun to show them some of the things we will do. They are really looking forward to it.

If your child is age 2 or older he/she will participate in the preschool program. If they are not yet 2, they will participate the month after they turn 2. The curriculum that I provide can get quite costly & I kindly ask that the first time you make your tuition payment each month, you include an extra $18.00 towards that months curriculum costs. I would hate to have to stop providing it for the sole reason of cost. This will be September 2008 – May 2009. Thank you in advance J

Holiday

Childcare will be closed on Monday, September 1^st for the Labor Day Holiday.

Childcare Closed (personal day)

I wanted to let everyone know as early as possible that I will be closed for a personal day on Friday, October 3, 2008. George is taking off of work on Oct. 2^nd and will be here when you pick-up that day as I am leaving early and will be closed on the 3^rd. All tuition payments must be made on Thursday Oct. 2^nd that week.

Calvert County Fair

122^nd annual Calvert Co. Fair begins in late September. Beginning on Wed. 9/24 the carnival opens at 5pm. The last day of the fair is Sunday, Sept. 28^th. Don’t forget to stop by the Calvert Co. Family Childcare Association Booth that will be set up at the fair. The president of our association, Bonnie Drayer will be there along with other providers in the county handing out a lot of information as well as balloons, temporary tattoos, toys and many other things for the kids!
